We invite you to attend the 18th International Biohydrometallurgy Symposium, which will be held in September 2009 in the city of Bariloche, Argentina.

Authors can participate by submitting abstracts for the General Papers track or for Poster's sessions. Abstracts must be formatted accordingly with all requirements listed in Authors Guidelines and Submission Preparation Checklist.

Submissions will be reviewed in a two-step review policy: abstracts will be sent by authors and reviewed by the Organizing Committee; then the International Scientific Committee will evaluate and review full papers sent by authors once their abstracts have been accepted.

Authors are encouraged to submit papers or posters, and to participate in the Symposium.

Author Guidelines.

Authors who pay full inscription are able to submit up to a maximum  of two papers.

When submitting your abstract,you should pay attention to some details concerning specially the format of the document (format for full papers will be published in due time):

• Abstract title should appear in all capital letters and center justified.
• After a blank line under the title, list the authors (surname and the initials of the names). The list should be center justified and just the first letter of each word must be capitalized.
• List the affiliations directly under the authors. Type affiliations and complete address. Telephone and fax numbers and email addresses may be included. The affiliations should be center justified.
• After a blank line, write the abstract narrative in no more than 300 words including objectives, main results and conclusions. The text must be justified. Indentation should not be used.
